4000 Series is a hydroentangled blend of 54% cellulose / 46% polyester cleanroom grade wiping stencil roll for cleaning under stencils between prints. This material effectively removes residual adhesives, solder pastes and fluxes, with or without solvents. Using our high quality wiping stencil rolls will help prevent many common production defects like bridging, smearing, solder balls, and other problems associated with circuit board printing. Due to its excellent airflow characteristics, this material will not compromise vacuum power, optimizing aperture cleaning performance. The JNJ Industries 4405EK is a 15.75" wide, stencil roll that comes on a 28' roll. The strong, absorbent, non abrasive wipe is designed to fit EKRA screen printers.
The EKRA screen printers use stencil rolls with a smaller core tube inside diameter (ID) than most printers on the market. The EKRA stencil roll has a .500" (13mm) ID, and they also have a smaller outside diameter than many rolls, typically being 2". Most EKRA printers have an adjustable stop mechanism so that various width stencil rolls can be used on the same printer by moving the stop mechanism either in for narrow rolls or out for wider rolls.
